The website which I will be creating is V’s Driving School. V’s Driving School is a beginner’s driver education course opened by my Dad. This is because someone offered my Dad to create a website, but I felt it was too expensive. Thus I have taken this opportunity to create this website. The targeted audience will be beginner drivers who have enrolled in the course. It will provide students with a course calendar and course material. Most of the website will be built in HTML with some Flash or Gif animations. Since this site is for information, so I want to keep it clean and clear, nothing too fancy. This website will be mainly used by the students enrolled in this course and future students to obtain information about the beginner’s driver education.
The work plan is as follows:
Week 1:
- Obtain information about my dad’s business
- Begin preliminary design of website
Week 2 to Week 5
- Design Flash animations which will be used for the website
- Design Images used for the website
Week 6 to Week 7
- Constructing website
Week 8
- Testing and launching website

I'm not really happy with the "driving school homepage" concept. I think you need to build a more creative part of the site that becomes your focus for this class.
That said, I am curious about how best to create calendar interfaces, especially with live sign-up features. Please research sites that you think are inspiring, especially in terms of interactivity and design.
What do you plan for Flash animation? Perhaps this could be your creative focus.
I look forward to seeing what you've put together in your MidTerm presentation. Please try to be ready tomorrow to do a brief but well illustrated presentation of your work so far including writing, site plan and images if possible.
I believe you are also scheduled to present your seminar tomorrow, though you were not in class last week when this was discussed. Please make every effort to attend class and if you can't to communicate with me about this. You will need to make a special effort to complete your work successfully.
