One of the ways to augment an experience is simply to change its context. How can the use of spaces and technologies like Cellspace, Bluetooth, and physical sensors be used to create salient experiences of the 'everyday' or be used to construct new experiential environments? What are is a person willing to do/visit if they have sufficient support?
Research through links, paper sources, and interviews will be used to construct an awareness interesting places people visit within the city and in their imagination. Then, using podcasts, bloothtooth (with GPS?), or simple written instructions, I would like to guide people into these spaces. My hope is that this work will be accessed through handheld devices as its main component ideas are mobility and maneuverability.

How do I upload test MP3's?
It was good to meet with you earlier this week and to help get your site up and running. Now that you know how to do the basic HTML version, we can concentrate on building - step by step - what you want to accomplish.
I've done a bit of research re: using cellphones to access the Internet. The problem is, this service is VERY expensive. It can cost over $2. per site visit. So I am thinking, how about a podcast version - something people could download to listen to on an MP3 player? This and documentation of the work in the exhibit and people using your players. Then if you create more audiowalks/ tours/ annotated/augmented spaces you could add them to a database of for download from online. Also, I saw a Flash / XML tutorial on how to build an MP3 player for your web site. I'm not sure if this is relevant, but it could be interesting. I'm sure you'll find out more as you do research for your audiocasting seminar.
